In fulfilling this commitment to protect both people and equipment, management will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards, which may result in property damage, accidents or personal injury or illness. Management will provide necessary mechanical equipment, instruments and personal protective equipment, along with instruction for their use and care.
Yorkai Group Safety Policy acknowledges that health and safety has an equal status to other business objectives and that we are committed to a continual improvement of health & safety standards and to the reduction of all incidents.
Health & Safety is the responsibility of managers and supervisors at every level in the Company and it is an integral part of their duties and responsibilities.
Yorkai Group personnel have a contractual, legal as well as an individual obligation to protect themselves and others from accident or injuries and to guard against any unnecessary harm to the environment. A condition of employment is that all staff complies with the Company's and Clients Health & Safety Plans, standards and procedures.
The Company also requires all sub-contractors working on its behalf to operate health & safety standards fully consistent with its own and is expected to achieve comparable levels of performance as a condition of their contract. |
